The history of the locality

Micleușeni is a village and commune in Strășeni District. The village has an area of approximately 1.11 square kilometers, with a perimeter of 7.81 km. The commune includes the localities of Huzun and Micleușeni. The locality is located 26 km from the city of Strășeni and 49 km from Chișinău. The village of Micleușeni was first mentioned in documents in the year 1420.

    „By the grace of God, we, Alexander Voivode, ruler of the Land of Moldavia. We make known, with this our charter, to all who will see it or hear it read, that this faithful servant of ours and loyal boyar, Pan Oană Vornic, has previously served our late forebears with just and faithful service, and today he serves us with just and faithful service. Therefore, we, seeing his just and faithful service to us, have granted him, with our special mercy, and given him in our land, in Moldavia, the villages namely Cornești, and Miclăușeni, and Lozova, and Săcăreni, and Vorniceni, and Dumești, and Țigănești, and Lavrești, and Sadova, and Homicești. Let all these be his from us as a perpetual inheritance, with all their income, for him and his children, and his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren, and his great-great-grandchildren, and his entire lineage, whoever shall be the nearest heir, ever unshaken, forever and ever. ... And for greater confirmation of all the above-written, we have ordered our faithful servant, Pan Isaia Logofăt, to write and attach our seal to this our charter.
