TToday, May 9, the commune of Micleușeni marked an important day in human history — Victory Day and Europe Day, a moment of remembrance and gratitude for the heroes who fell fighting for the independence of the Homeland.

The event honored the memory of those who lived and suffered through that tragic past, emphasizing the importance of preserving their legacy and instilling respect for their sacrifice in the younger generations.

A solemn highlight of the day was the blessing of the renovated heroes’ monument, symbolizing the community's deep respect and commitment to its history. The ceremony brought together locals, local authorities, and guests in an act of unity and gratitude.

Under the motto “Nothing is forgotten, nothing will be forgotten!”, participants conveyed a powerful message of peace and solidarity, reminding everyone that: “Nothing is more sacred than peace on earth!”
